At FounderX, Speed is Key, But CEO Mansi Panchal Still Prioritizes Mentorship

Startups are known for their speed. Everything moves quickly. The targets, meetings, campaigns, and client requests. But even in the middle of this fast-paced environment, our CEO, Mansi Panchal, somehow always finds the time to mentor. And that’s something I didn’t expect to witness so closely. Over the past few weeks, I’ve seen her sit down with the sales team, not just once or twice, but regularly. She doesn’t just check in for five minutes and leave. She stays. She listens. She watches them take calls, patiently observing their pitch, and when the call ends, she breaks it down step by step. She tells them what worked, what could’ve been said better, and how to shift their approach next time. It’s not about pressure or performance but about growth. She guides them on how to think like a closer, not just sound like one.

And when it comes to marketing, her approach is just as involved and intentional. I’ve been in team meetings where Mansi doesn’t just approve or reject ideas. She brainstorms with us. She asks questions that change the direction of our thinking. She gives us a lens to look at things differently, whether it’s how we position our content, how we engage with our audience, or how we measure impact. She’s the kind of leader who doesn’t hand you answers, she hands you a path. And you can feel that mentorship in every conversation. It’s rare to see a CEO so closely involved in both execution and team development, but with her, it’s clear: she values people just as much as she values performance.

Working at Founder X as an intern has taught me a lot, but watching Mansi in action has taught me something even more valuable, i.e., real leadership isn’t just about driving results. It’s about creating leaders. And no matter how fast the startup moves, she always makes time to pause, guide, and uplift the team. That’s the kind of mentorship that leaves a mark, long after the meeting ends.
